Hi All,
Yesterday, my PawPaw Ernie had a heart attack, and was air-lifted to Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. The Doctors said it was mild, but he needed to have double bypass surgery on either Tuesday, or Thursday of next week. He was resting and in stable condition last night.
This morning when the Cardiologist checked on him, he noticed that Ernie was not as coherent as he was yesterday. Upon further examination, and a CT scan it was determined that PawPaw had a stroke and was suffering with bleeding on the right side of his brain.
The outlook is not good, and it appears that PawPaw will not be here with us much longer. This has come as quite a shock, since we thought he was going to be all right.
Please pray especially for my grandmother, as this is very hard for her. I greatly, greatly appreciate it.
