I’ve been working at VBS all week, but
“FEAR NOT!”
I’m still going to keep you updated daily as to what is going on.
The theme for this year’s VBS is “Crocodile Dock: Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light!” The setting is a bayou, where all sorts of turtles, crocodiles, alligators, possums, fireflies, and spoonbill birds congregate.
But “FEAR NOT”! They are all pretend.
Yesterday we learned that God is always with us (FEAR NOT!) no matter what happens.
And today we learned that God is powerful (FEAR NOT!), in every aspect of our lives.
“Molly, why do you keep shouting FEAR NOT?”
Good question:
Everyday we learn a Bible Point, and everytime we hear that Bible Point, we have to shout FEAR NOT!!!
So do it with me:
God is With Us! FEAR NOT!
God is Powerful! FEAR NOT!

I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I LOVE Bible School. It is really and truly one of the highlights of my summer. I love the songs, the games, the interactive Bible stories, the snacks (mmmm!!), and fun! Basically it is a great excuse to act like a big kid, and let go of all inhibitions. It is very hard to go to VBS and be inhibited. It’s virtually impossible. I mean, really, it’s impossible.
I’m planning on taking my camera tomorrow to show you all the fun I the children have been having.
