On Sunday, my family headed out to Price Park for Father’s Day. I was surprised that there were tables still available, since it was crowded. Thankfully we got there at the right time when most people were leaving. We ate some Kentucky Fried Chicken (thank you, Colonel!), and then played in the creek some.
As usual, I had my camera with me. And Daphne wanted to have a family picture taken by the creek. I decided that I needed to take one of Dustin and Daphne, and said “give each other a kiss”! This is what I received:

Obviously, Dustin is feeling the love
So I tried again. “Come on, guys! This is a great memory to capture! Now, give each other a kiss!” And this is what I received:

Clearly, Dustin is not taking my advice…
Then Ruthie got in on the action and started saying: “come on mom, and dad! Do it for the children! The children love it!” I couldn’t make this up if I tried. But in the end, Dustin said he was too embarrassed to kiss in public. He’s always been the shy type. I’ll have to teach him a thing or two, heh, heh, heh…
Even though I couldn’t capture “young love” on my camera, I did manage to capture the wonder that is known as “watching rocks skip on the pond”…
It ’twas a good day, indeed.
Love the pictures!
